We've called our serums the “Fairy Godmother” serums because the formulas are so gentle yet incredibly effective that they *do* seem to have a bit of fairy tale magic to them. They're ultra-light and water-based so you barely feel them on your skin, but over time the effects they can have on your skin are magical.

How this fairy godmother can help mature skin

As you get older a few things start to happen to your skin - usually fine lines, wrinkles, dryness and the odd age spot. Ever wondered why?

Beneath your skin’s surface it has a lot to do with our old friends, Collagen and Elastin. Imagine that collagen and elastin are like your skin’s building blocks, making your skin strong, firm and plump. Up until you hit your mid-20’s your body is a collagen-producing powerhouse. 

But as you move into your 30’s and spend more time getting wiser on this magnificent planet, your body produces about 1-2% LESS collagen every year and your skin’s structure is compromised. Just like the walls of a house starting to weaken, your skin starts to lose elasticity and firmness and fine lines and wrinkles start to appear.

The magical ingredients

On their own each of these ingredients is a star, but together they create a bit of magic that over time can transform mature skin. Dry skin becomes moist. Fine lines are visibly decreased. Dark spots and pigmentation look more even toned.

Vitamin C (Ascorbyl Glucoside) – a very stable form of vitamin C that is used gradually by your skin, enhancing its results. It brightens and evens skin tone, acts as a powerful defense against environmental pollutants, reduces the appearance of wrinkles and increases moisture.

Glycogen – a sugar protein that will boost moisture in your skin like you wouldn’t believe, and it works with your skin’s own hyaluronic acid, collagen and elastin to make your skin look firmer.

Hyaluronic Acid – the hydration superstar that delivers incredible amounts of hydration to your skin, helping it look fuller and plumper and reducing the appearance of fine lines.
