Step-By-Step Guide
STEP 1 - Prep your cardboard deodorant tube
Roll it back and forth on a solid surface, pressing firmly (but not too hard) to loosen it.
STEP 2 - Reset the base winder (if you're refilling)
If you're doing a refill, wind the base of your refillable case clockwise until you can’t wind anymore. New cases will already have their winder in the right position.
STEP 3 - Remove the cap
Twist the cap of your case anti-clockwise to remove.
STEP 4 - Remove the collar
Unscrew the collar of your refillable case by turning it clockwise (it's the opposite direction of what you expect it to be!).
STEP 5 - Load your deodorant
Remove the deodorant’s cardboard cap and slide the cardboard tube into the case.
STEP 6 - Replace the collar
Replace the case’s collar (turning anti-clockwise).
STEP 7 - Raise your deodorant a little
Wind the base of the case (anti-clockwise) to raise your deodorant 2-3mm past the top of the case (no more!).
STEP 8 - Let's go!
Swipe 3-4 times under your armpit. Woohoo!
Troubleshooting
Wind your deodorant up too far?
To retract your deodorant into the case, wind the base of your refillable case clockwise so it goes down.
If the cardboard deodorant tube doesn't go down automatically, tap the base of your refillable case on a solid surface a few times (not too hard as aluminium is a soft material).
The deodorant will move down in the case to rest on the winder. 👍
Stuck collar?
When removing the collar it needs to be turned clockwise (it's the opposite of what you'd expect!).
If you've tried turning it in both directions and it's still not unscrewing, your collar may need some gentle help to get unstuck. Just give the collar a gentle tap on a solid surface and it should release.
